The Quiet Drift Most People Never Notice
We tend to imagine losing our way would be obvious. There would be a wrong turn, a difficult decision, some recognizable moment when we stopped living the life we intended. But drift rarely announces itself. Sometimes nothing is obviously wrong. We are still working, caring, achieving, and keeping our commitments. We may simply have stopped noticing whether the life we are moving through still feels like our own.
